My Life Being Renewed: The things kids say...

The things kids say...

{The Mr. & Me}

{L to R- Niece, MIL, me, SIL & Nephew}

{The Alice in Wonderland Play was Brilliant!}

{Nieces- Elizabeth -played the Duchess & Gwendolyn- played Flower 1 & The Guard}

Honestly, the itinerary did not go as planned because the girls were so excited to see us- they didn't want us to leave & do anything without them! We did go swimming on the last night and we did loads of shopping. We also went to Trader Joes & Whole Foods to buy all of our Thanksgiving foods, we actually planned the menu on the drive up- so excited for that! Unfortunately we didn't make it to downtown Greenville or the Mountains, but we will definitely go back and be sure to do it next time.

As far as doing one NEW thing- It was my first Alice in Wonderland Play & I did the girls stage makeup for both nights, they didn't want anyone else to do it, they said that I was super talented {funny, the things kids say}. I truly enjoyed spending time with them- I don't think I have ever felt so welcomed and loved {and fought over} in my life. I overheard one of my nieces say, she's just the best Aunt ever {with a sigh}- the sweetest thing I have ever heard ever. The oldest niece, Elizabeth, said that she liked just the two of us hanging out together- they were seriously such a boost to my ego. Hopefully, we will get to hang out again around the Christmas Holidays.

Hope you enjoy the photos & you are all having a fabulous week- it's only a few more days until Thanksgiving!!!

  4. So cute! Love the costumes! And trader Joe's, that is my little guy's most fave store--this may or may not have to due with the fact they have tiny carts for him to push :)
